BBA Paying Respect to Alders (April 14, 2024, 11.0 am, 15W 110 Forest Lane, Elmhurst, IL 60126)

Dear Dhamma friends and families,

Elderly people aged 70 or even older are cordially and respectfully invited to attend the “37th Occasion of the " Paying Respect to Elders ” at the Monk Residence, located at 15W 110 Forest Lane, Elmhurst, IL 60126 to accept our respect and honor offered by us on that auspicious day following the schedule shown below. It will be a Burmese traditional lunch menu with curry, sweets and desserts.

BBA will be hosting a Myanmar traditional lunch with desserts and Yangon tea for Venerable Sayadaws, the respectable elders, and you, following the Schedule:

BBA Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony, November 5th, 2023

You and your family are cordially invited to join us at Burmese Buddhist Association (BBA) Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony to be held on Sunday, November the 5th, 2023. To ensure this remarkable Ceremony, BBA has invited a total of 13 Venerable monks from BBA and from other states to participate together with our Chief Abbot Venerable Sayadaw Ashin Kaythawa and Resident Monk Ashin Kumara.

Dhamma Satkyar Chanting Group of BBA are the main donors of the Ceremony. They are hosting a delicious lunch with Chicken curry with potato, Shrimp Curry, Beef curry, Vegetable bean soup, Samusar with other Burmese desserts and Yangon tea. The generous family members are inviting you to join the Ceremony.

You are cordially invited to "BBA Thadingyut Lighting Ceremony" on Sunday Oct 22nd, 2023 here at BBA, 15W 110 Forest lane, Elmhurt, IL 60126

Ceremony and Dhamma Seikyar Recital will start at 3:00pm.

Burmese Buddhist Association (BBA) will arrange candles and scent sticks to Buddha. BBA will hosting with delicious Mote-hin-gar.
